Commissioning

As energy costs continue to rise, building owners need to take every opportunity to ensure that their buildings’ energy-consuming systems function as intended. Efficient and proper operation result in energy savings, improved indoor air quality and, for new construction, improved design and construction processes.

In new buildings, this independent process is called commissioning, while in existing buildings it’s called retro-commissioning. It’s a requirement for all projects seeking US Green Building Council LEED Certification.

What sets Pathfinder’s commissioning process apart?  Our lead Commissioning Authority Team members have decades of design and construction experience - and this combination of technical know-how and field expertise helps ensure fully functional, optimized buildings that can be turned over to the owners for continued efficient performance.
