Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics Control Room and Monitoring Center

Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics developed a system to remotely monitor their blood analyzing equipment around the world, providing OCD the ability to identify and address potential problems with the users to preempt equipment failure and downtime. Pathfinder provided full-service architectural and engineering design for this 2,700 sq. ft. world headquarters control center. The design required a functional space to serve existing customers and to showcase the state-of-the-art remote monitoring system to attract new customers.

The project consisted of two main function areas. The Remote Monitoring Center includes the Control Room where the monitoring service is provided and a viewing area/conference room where Ortho-Clinical demonstrates their service to existing and potential customers. The Analyzer Area is an existing operation where equipment failures are duplicated and solutions created to assist users and technicians with repairing equipment located worldwide.
